Lucca Welcome, an initiative of Caritas Lucca, is committed to providing support and hospitality services for the citizens of Lucca and its province, with particular attention to the most vulnerable segments of the population.
The project required the creation of a website that would organize and make accessible information on available reception services, allowing users to search for them by area, type and reference body. We developed an intuitive platform that offers a detailed overview of local resources, focusing on low-access services, i.e. those that directly welcome people in difficult situations, such as hospitality, food support and first listening for those experiencing moments of fragility.
This digital system fully responds to Lucca Welcome's goal of creating a more accessible and widespread reception network, enhancing local resources and improving the ability to respond to social emergency situations. The platform also facilitates the work of operators and volunteers, offering an updated and complete map of available services.
