For all entrepreneurs who start a new business, there are many challenges to face: first of all, the idea and the network with which to tackle the business project. Then, the administrative aspects, regulatory adjustments, loans, funds. The spaces, any machinery, concessions, but also the adequate diffusion among potential customers.

In what seems to many to be an odyssey, at a certain point the need may arise to ask for a digital consultancy startup-related. But about what, specifically?

1) A startup starts as a micro or small business: does it really need management software?

2) Staying on the subject of size: does it make sense to invest in a startup CRM to communicate with my customers?

4) Sometimes you have to manage a number of projects that exceeds human capabilities: can project management be optimized and better managed through appropriate digital consultancy?

This is the only possible answer for all four questions. It depends mainly because a preliminary assessment is mandatory!

Fine you have to ask yourself who you are and how you have already developed/want to develop your business idea. And only at a later stage can digital consultancy come to your aid. Let's start with a rather significant expense item: management software.

For a micro-business or startup, even more so, choosing the wrong ERP can turn out to be a sure failure. In this precise historical moment, in which many businesses are focusing on their internal reorganization, a small company could feel the pressure on its neck, as regards the efficiency of internal activities.

But even before the management software, it makes sense to ask yourself: which activities could I automate and make faster and less expensive, and which instead makes sense to keep "human", because they provide added value? This is the reasoning that a good software consultant can help you do, evaluating together with you whether a simple app to manage work shifts, or automate the messaging of your e-commerce, makes more sense for you, rather than setting up a customized ERP from start to finish.

2) Is CRM always useful in startups?

Managing customer relationships is both an extremely repetitive activity and an act that requires great customization, and often a good dose of patience and humanity.

Your customer may instantly become annoyed if your CRM software performs poorly, or if it is too slow or has an unintuitive interface.

Integrating your company's big data with the right CRM is not just a medium-large business. Add to the advantages the fact that there are good low-budget digital solutions... and the answer is clear!

3) Digital marketing consultancy for startups: yes or no?

We have already talked about how to distinguish a good digital marketing consultancy and how to choose it while avoiding being scammed. The same rules of common sense apply to a startup, with one caveat: the startup incubator can help you with the business and entrepreneurial aspects. But with marketing, it is best to start thinking about it yourself from the beginning.

Building a certain brand reputation online takes time. Also, if your startup is still in the funding stage, the right advertising is a must.

4) Digital consultancy for Project management

It would have been difficult to imagine until twenty years ago, but now the right software allows you to coordinate the progress of a project. From the design, to the storage of calls made from a phone number, to the scheduling and distribution of tasks and sharing of progress in the cloud.

Avoid relying too much on Excel: your startup can benefit from a project management app, thus eliminating the difficult obstacle of organization. Avoiding you being chained to the office doing tasks that could easily be delegated to a software.
