PNRR Italy
Among the most significant non-repayable funding in 2021 we have the so-called PNRR Italia (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), established by paragraph 1037 of the Budget Law with resources managed by Invitalia Spa or controlled companies.
It is a 40% financing for high-tech productive investments, established by the Union: the PNRR is in fact a direct application of the Next Generation EU Programme.

The non-repayable financing is provided in the form of vouchers, in this amount:
- 50% of costs incurred up to €40.000 for small businesses
- 30% of costs incurred up to €25.000 for medium-sized enterprises
- 50% of costs incurred up to €80.000 for business networks.
How to access
It is necessary to sign a service contract between the beneficiary company and the consultancy firm, or qualified professional registered in the MISE register.
The contract must include the item of specialized services for technological and digital transformation relating to the processes and application of enabling technologies Industry 4.0, management reorganization of the company and access to financial and capital markets.

The relief is divided into two, the contribution on account and the subsidized loan, to be repaid in no more than 7 years. In more detail:
- Micro and small businesses receive a 35% contribution towards plant costs and a subsidized loan of 40%;
- Medium-sized enterprises receive a 25% contribution towards plant costs and a subsidized loan of 50%.
